There is a new option for tuition discounts for federal employees looking to continue their education.
The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) announced earlier this month it is partnering with the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law to offer 10 percent off of tuition for the master of science in law (MSL) or the master of laws (LL.M.) programs. The discount takes effect immediately.
Another new option this year is Central Michigan University, where benefits include waived application fee for undergraduate and master’s degrees and a 15 percent tuition discount.
Other universities offer various discounts to federal employees as well including: Penn State University World, the University of Maryland University College, and Champlain College.
Federal employees, as well as their spouses and qualified dependents are eligible for tuition discounts.
